I feel you on pain suddenly getting worse. I got fibro after getting mono in high school but the biggest uptick in pain for me started after I got covid (made it 4 years before I got it). I'm going to try and keep idioms and any complicated words to a minimum to the best of my ability. If you need me to explain anything let me know. I don't know what country your in or what laws you have so I hope this is still somewhat helpful if that's the case. Pacing: For pacing I ended up getting Visible (since your having issues with overly sensitive skin get the 2.0 version. Has a wrist strap and a 5 day battery). It breaks down what activities drain you the most. For instance yesterday I went overboard and I'm definitely paying for it today. heart rate tracking and symptom tracker Pain: Idk if you can get it but CBD really helped me. I was on pain pills for years and CBD got me off. It doesn't give the high effect like weed does or Delta8/Delta9 (these will show up positive for weed if you take a drug test and may not be the best option for someone struggling with substance abuse. Your health is most important). My favorite item for pain is a CBD Lotion and for an extra kick you can use their 1:1 lotion. They also have strong bath bombs and other items to help but I'm not sure if they ship to your country. Epsom Salt also helps. On bad days I'll pour half the bag in and it helps my joints and muscles (doesn't have to be this exact one, you can use plain Epsom salt and it will still help) Muscle rubs also helps I personally use tiger balm (they also have patches). I'll add some more underneath: Penetrex roll on Heating patches (if you have sensitive skin I would not use them as they are equal to rubbing spicy peppers over your skin, but it is also warming) Red Light Therapy oversized heating pad microwavable small heating pad (I use it for smaller targeted areas) Motrin + Tylenol (works best for joints) Aleve back and muscle (works best for muscles) I ended up getting really bad restless leg syndrome and this is the only thing I've found that helps. I also get migraines now so I use hot hands but mine is usually around my sinuses so I put it against my brow bone and then throw a sleeping mask over it to keep it in place (also these specific ones I linked are super warmers so they get hotter. If you're sensitive to that use regular hand warmers, they don't get as hot and are smaller) Sensitivity: I get overly sensitive areas of my skin where clothes hurt. Try to find light and Airy or something that feels soft. You can also put lidocaine patches over those areas. It acts as a barrier and then numbs the area for when you take it off. I also use lidocaine spray and will sometimes put it over top the cbd lotion. I also get bad hot flashes now so I actually take Black cohosh and they've reduced dramatically (also works for menopausal women) Sleep: I got crazy insomnia when it started with me. I swear by these Sleep Gummies they have cbd and melatonin. I take 2 and in about 30 minutes I'll get sleepy. I sleep harder with these so sometimes I don't sleep as long. Now if you have to work the next day I would take 1 until you can gauge how sleepy you are the next day. I personally have no issues with grogginess the next day. NONE of this has to be from the links I used. They were the easiest thing I could think of to help. Idk how these will translate in your language but hopefully it works. This is all I can think of at this moment but if I think of anything else I'll edit the post. I hope this helps some and I'm so sorry you're having to go through this. This subreddit has helped me so much because I don't know anyone else that has it and people in my life try to understand but they don't. Edit: When you start your career try and go for remote jobs/work from home jobs. Being able to nap for lunch or work from my bed has helped a lot and I don't use as much of my time off as I used to.
