Get this Korg GA2 tuner. It’s cheap, reasonably accurate and lets you plug your instrument instead of using a mic. Select bass, aim for green light on E4 A3 D2 G1, pluck lightly one string at a time, and mute with your hand the rest of strings not being measured. Always loosen a bit the string and tune up, if you went sharp, don’t tune down, loosen up and repeat tuning up.
