No, seek professional help. What I learned from the professionals is that the drug store lice shampoo isn't as effective as it used to be. Also, some lice combs are better than others. Get one that looks like this (with the spirals). When my kids were young, olive oil treatment did the trick when they brought lice home from school more than once.
