1 month is on the low end of when you should consider how to storage the car, but I'll give what should be done from all I've read: Try to keep the battery between 35-60% SOC before storage. Once stored, disconnect the Black wire of the 12v battery - leave the read. I suggest pinning the cable on a non-conductive surface with electrical tape. Alternatively, you can wrap the end of the cable in plastic and then wrap that up in tape to prevent oxidization - that's an optional step, though. The following is entirely optional but I suggest it whenever someone's doing minor wrenching under the hood of a LEAF: While you are under there, however... do yourself a favor for long term health of the car, and grab a pair of these: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09V54VCCV - on either side of the car's struts you'll find an uncovered 'hole' with a bolt/nut there - dry that out and put these caps on. They'll prevent water from sitting there and slowly rusting/seizing up the bolt/nut. Slight design flaw on Nissan's side. This is a cheap fix that saves loads of headaches later on.
