I have an electric blower/vacuum. I only have a 1/3 acre lot, but it works...OK. I tend to use it in blower mode to make some piles around the yard, then put it in vacuum/shred mode to slowly (VERY slowly) eat away at the piles. It makes it so it all fits in a single 96 gallon yard waste tote. It may be faster to use a rake and pick them up, but then it takes 3 yard waste cycles to get all the leaves disposed of.
Toro vacuume this thing is amazing: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00SBPFREU?ref=cm_sw_r_cso_cp_apin_dp_G60DHMDG5X18XPQKRSQ2_1&ref_=cm_sw_r_cso_cp_apin_dp_G60DHMDG5X18XPQKRSQ2_1&social_share=cm_sw_r_cso_cp_apin_dp_G60DHMDG5X18XPQKRSQ2_1&titleSource=true
