I slept in a soft pillow boot like others have mentioned, but wanted to share a soft night splint option as well. I felt like i just wanted a reminder I couldn't walk + a little protection if I bumped it, but if you're jerking down and want to keep the ankle itself more stable, it might work for you. Amazon links bc they're easy, but your doctor's office might have similar that are covered by insurance.

Get a pillow to elevate your leg https://a.co/d/0hqu1Ozo Ask your Dr if you can wear a night boot. Tbh they should have just given you one. Something like https://a.co/d/08cMA5ac but your insurance should pay for it. They may say no, but a lot of surgeons do not think about practical matters unless you ask. For example, they likely also didn't say that you probably qualify for a temp handicap parking tag. I asked if I qualified and if so how to get and the ortho office who specializes in lower leg fractures said they "weren't sure". 🤦
