I got married in this $47 white satin gown from Amazon, 12 years ago. I had the bust area professionally tailored a little and since the fabric was a single layer, decent shape wear was extra important. But I looked fantastic and no one would have guessed I spent under $125 total. My sister (also plus sized) got married in a princess type real wedding dress and those things are like 10+ layers of fabric and she was hot and miserable the entire cold (and unfortunately rainy) October day. If you found something great go for it!
