I feel for ya. I read about this shortly after purchasing mine. Planned on purchasing a mesh kit but just forgot. I found a company that had mostly pre-cut mesh "inserts" for about $80. After doing research on components and what the install entailed, I opted to buy the parts myself, cut the mesh and install it myself... You're doing the install on both, so might as well save your self a few bucks and cut the mesh to fit yourself. In fact, the installation video for the kit notes that some slight trimming may be needed anyway.

Buy this And this And this too Then you are going to want to paint. Take a wire brush to get all the loose stuff out before you spackle.
