My autonomic doctor suggested Normalyte electrolyte powder to me when I was first diagnosed, and it’s been wonderful. He suggested it specifically because (1) it’s formulated by pharmacists with POTSies and other sick folks at the forefront of their minds, rather than athletes and healthy folks and (2) I wanted an unflavored electrolyte powder (they have flavored versions too). It does have a decent amount of sugar in it: anhydrous dextrose. To my understanding, that’s purified glucose without the water molecule, so it’s a real carbohydrate sugar but not an artificial sweetener. If you’re just trying to avoid the artificial stuff, Normalyte is excellent for that! But if you’re trying to reduce sugar altogether, then it might not be the best fit.
