I started to write a treatise but will just say for now that I spent undoubtedly way too much time researching and mulling all this over, but this particular ‘lipstick organizer’ model by byAlegory has worked out even better than I anticipated — a total game changer in terms of home aesthetics, ease of access and logical inventory management (if you will), and honestly increasing the speed and joy of the actual testing and discovery and wearing them… and thus getting much more satisfying value from the whole hobby. Highlights: keeps all samples upright (#1 for me), comfortably fits four 1.2/1.5/2ml spray samples (or one chunky 5ml aluminum atomizer) per cell, maximizes counter/shelf space while still being completely portable, super sturdy construction but lightweight and minimal ‘visual noise,’ and low wall height makes it easy to see / sort / grab / label / reorganize anything on a whim. Just two of these will easily hold 100+ 1-2ml samples, with plenty of room to spare (or to keep adding more), in a 7” x 9” area on top of your furniture item of choice. More details to follow (if anyone wants), but please let me know if you have any specific questions in the meantime. I don’t ALWAYS get this zealous on this topic.
I’ve been on a sample/decant binge lately and this organizer (technically made for lipsticks) is my new favorite thing. Key for me is that it holds them all upright, and each cell comfortably holds four 2ml samples without toppling over. Highly recommend. Let me know if any other details would be helpful.
