As funny as it is, this actually works. We've had multiple people come to our door, start to reach for the doorbell, see this sign, and turn and walk away. https://a.co/d/03Ih1cVN Of course, this doesn't work when they walk up when I'm working in the front yard. Our village requires solicitors to get a permit. I have never had a solicitor have a permit when I ask to see it. I kindly tell them that they can come back when they have a permit, but I charge $50 per minute to listen to their sales pitch. They never come back. 🤣
