BUY AMDRO!!! We've had a horrible issue with ants 🐜 every spring like clockwork. And little bait stations do absolutely nothing to put a dent in the population. But then we started using this stuff and it was a GAME CHANGER! 👏🏻 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000QDEQ7E?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share We sprinkle it around the outside perimeter of the house (only when rain isn't in the forecast for a couple days), and also a little inside the house where they seem to congregate (and in a spot our cat can't access it). Works like a dream!! Seriously our kitchen counters and pantry were overrun by ants but then this stuff makes them magically disappear. 🪄 We only have to use it just once in a while.

If you do decide to try and get rid of the colony, I believe Amdro Ant Block and Perimeter defense is the only product labeled for Leaf-Cutters that does not require a pressure injection system. https://a.co/d/5YyW8ac You basically follow the ants to their foraging holes and ring the holes with the granules. It can take months of playing whack-a-mole, but eventually you can stop them if you can find all of their holes. You can also ring the plants you would like to protect. Leaf-Cutters are unique in that they are not actually eating the leaves, they bring the leaves to underground lairs where they feed it to a fungus. The fungus grows and consumes the foliage and the ants eat the fungus. Super cool honestly. There are other products that are way more effective like Fipronil, but you would need a high pressure soil injector probe to apply it correctly.
