Socket screw in lights with adjustable panels work surprisingly well as a light source and are affordable. I then added a remote shutoff sensor to each one so I can turn a zone off if desired. I’ve had mine for years and they have performed well. Example below. They aren’t the sexiest looking thing, but I find them practical and less offensive than hex lights.
