You want to have multiple back ups. This is the external hard drive I got SANDISK Extreme Portable SSD 1TB https://www.amazon.co.uk/SANDISK-Portable-External-resistance-Firmware/dp/B08GTYFC37/ref=mp_s_a_1_2? So far I've saved 12 months of photos and videos and its still got plenty of storage left. I've only got the one as it's pricey but ideally you want two incase one fails. Having cloud back up is also good. Especially if something happens to your physical possessions like a fire, robbery, bitey baby. Definitely aim for two forms of back up. I've started using free prints to so I get 45 "free" prints a month (it's 5 pound delivery but it still works out cheaper than the supermarket). Edit: when I ordered it it was 84 pounds so I'd shop around or wait for them to go on sale!

This is a cheap knockoff of an older model SanDisk Extreme Portable.
