Hello mate! Had a similar issue and a fellow redditor gave me the light and the solution to this problem a couple years ago, i have since shared this to everyone i see seeking the same advice. It will cost you about 50$-100$ to resolve this but this is basically a one of payment and then every few months depending on the amount of smokes per week/month you make to replace one part. See below: Parts: Buy a 20x20 boxed fan such as: https://a.co/d/036Uix7O Buy a 20x20x5 or 20x20x4 merv 13 air filter (this you will need to replace every now and then) such as https://a.co/d/04UwGOU8 Buy heavy duty tape such as https://a.co/d/0c287PyQ Process and install: Tape the air filter ( just one) to the intake of fan, this has to be there so that it sucks the smoke into the filter. Place the dan next to the Woodfire and exhaust. Depending on how you have it place but obviously point the exit of the fan to the open.. opposite from your balcony’s doors and such. This setup will help with 90% of the smoke. There will be a bit of smoke that gets past it when you do the initial ignition when you open the hatch before putting your food into the Woodfire, but that is about it. Always place the fan before turning everything on and leave it on always while the smoker is still releasing smoke. Another advise use appropriate extension cables if you are using one as those can melt due if they aren’t appropriate for the correct voltage. I believe a 12awg heavy duty one should work. Pass this info to help more people whenever needed. We all deserve to do bbq with peace of mind and respecting our neighbors. Happy grilling!
