If you want to use that mount, I think you can still save it. You will need to make a spacer (2" wood block?) so you can move the mount out enough so the vertical component clears the side of the the roof. Then you can move it higher, maybe by bolting the wood block it to the highest stud you can find. If using a wood block, you would mount the block to the stud (try not to use the same holes as the dish mount needs), and then mount the bracket. Idea here is the dish ends up just a bit over the roof. Once you are satisfied, perhaps paint the block white to make it look nice and waterproof, and cover the previous holes so water does not get in (some woodscrews or bolts that fit the hole, but with rubber gasket material between them and the house siding comes to mind ). FYI, if the wood block is more like a piece of 2x4 (check thickness and width to see if it meets needs), you could bolt a length (more than 1foot; need to measure) between the old mounting holes and the new ones (topmost stud). This way, you can then find the perfect height for the antenna bracket and then drill it. If you do not want to use the wood space, this mount allows you to extend its horizontal arm so to clear roof: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0GKV69JY5 About wiring, I do not know how it gets to your house (going through bottom of garage?), but looking at the picture you may have just enough to move the dish up. With that said, I am saving your picture.
