I was never on crutches, and only really used the cane for about a week or so. Get a cheapie from Amazon and have the PT adjust the length. I'd assume the hospital would supply crutches, as those need to be fitted. Ice! Ice! Ice! The hospital gave me a cheapie ice machine; I preferred using freezable gel packs (King Pavonini was the brand on Amazon, I have 4 but that's more than I really needed. You don't want to get caught without. Grabber. Nothing below is likely to be supplied by the hospital Toilet seat riser until you have enough easy flexion in your knee ("easy" flexion doesn't mean range of motion -- it means the amount of motion you can comfortably use). I'm tall so I needed it more. Sock aid if you wear socks (e. g. https://www.amazon.com/RMS-Deluxe-Sock-Foam-Handles). It only really works with ankle or shorter socks; it doesn't work with crew-length socks very well. Long shoe horn (e. g. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0F6MVRL87). Leg lifter (e. g. https://www.amazon.com/Inch-Leg-Lifter-Replacement-Wheelchair). This may help with heel slides and with lifting your leg onto the bed if you cannot do it yourself (I wound up using my other leg as a hook). Bedside commode may be useful. You could probably rent one, although they're not that expensive. Cast cover, if you want to take a shower before you're cleared to let the incision get wet (e. g. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CQ4YH3C8). I never used it. If you're male: urinals so you don't have to get up at night (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07YMHR8SJ). I used them for 2 or 3 weeks and they helped a lot. Amazon does sell knee/hip replacement kits which might be convenient rather than buying each individual piece.
