Before you go too far, see this comment I wrote just the other day. The cord helped, but in the long term it was not a full solution. Hi! The cord helped, but not as much as I would have hoped. I ended up having a new bone nut installed, which also helped, but not as much as i would have hoped. I used the cord on both the old and new nuts. I adjusted my playing style a bit to bump the tremolo after bends. The new nut combined with that shift made it playable in tune for the past year. At one point I even put a new american bridge on it because mine had a small factory defect right at the edge where it contacts one of the posts. That didnt change anything. However, a couple weeks ago I saw a video about wilkinson bridges that described this exact problem, what causes it, and how the wilkinson design fixes it. Link here: https://youtu.be/_la0_qAlJCo?si=XuSI1TV62TyYQYSh I had also been told by another person on reddit that a wilkinson bridge fixed the problem for them. I bought one and installed it. The wilkinson bridge almost entirely solved the problem so far. I've had it for about two weeks now, and it's a huge improvement. It also looks good. The bridge I used can be found here: https://a.co/d/0bed1e4V
