When my youngest was about that age, we really enjoyed reading your adventure stories where the child got to make choices for the main character that were around decisions between choosing good behavior and bad behavior and the consequences that came from each one. Try "What should Darla Do?https://a.co/d/09NFCBeA There's also a box set of three books called "What Should Danny Do?" They are both good fun, and they also point out how making a good choice makes a day run more smoothly where as making a not so good choice has downhill consequences for the rest of the day. We also laughed at times when we would read the book and "choose to be bad" on purpose, and mess us the main character's day on purpose. Sometimes in a moment of potential mischief in real life, I would remind her that we're trying to have a really lovely day and say "what should Darla do??!!" The books are fun and it's a nice way to introduce the concept that kids have the power to CHOOSE to be well behaved.
