I had this issue but I got it mostly fixed after going kinda nuts on the problem. I got a Hitron modem but it doesn't matter what you use. This is the list of options from Comcast: Netgear CM2050V, Netgear CM3000, HitronTechnologies CODA56, ARRIS S34. I glued a USB computer fan onto my modem for extra cooling. I swapped out my TP-Link Deco AXE5400 mesh wifi for a 3 pack of Amazon Eero 6+. I put the Eero 6+ router on top of a bookshelf to keep it about 4 ft off the floor and made sure it has a 5 ft radius without any other electronics near it. I put the modem and router on a UPS. I switched the existing ethernet cables out for nice CAT6A cables. I also set up a Pi-hole but that's not necessary for most people. I'd say just change the router's DNS to Cloudflare DNS or Google DNS.

You might want to consider a UPS like this: https://www.amazon.com/APC-Battery-Protector-Back-UPS-BE425M/dp/B01HDC236Q/ This will keep your networking devices powered and protected through any short outages, and you won’t even have to wait for stuff to boot up again once power is restored.
