I found one of these at the hardware store about a year ago. It's far and away the most powerful, reliable and robust cigar lighters I've ever had. It ignights on the first try 98% of the time and You can adjust the flame all the way down to essentially a small soft flame and up to an 8" jet torch if you need to burn flys on the porch. I can't recommend it enough. Plus, it was only $25ish. Looking it up now, it looks like these were recalled due to lack of a child resistant mechanism, so hopefully they'll fix them and re-release them.
