If you need color accuracy, MacBook Pro is the best way to go, with little exception. Pros have fans btw, but they're fairly quiet. Most, if not all, programs should work. Graphic design programs that don't work on mac are kinda hard to spot. Games you mentioned should work perfectly fine. I have a refurbished M1 Pro chip MacBook Pro from Amazon for $800, a machine that was about $2.5k on release. You might have to go through the refurbished cycle of sending bad machines back, but I promise you it's worth it. The chip performs I think slightly worse than their current offerings, but that's where you're looking at $2k+ laptops with the recent price increases. Lmk if any more questions!!
