Have you gotten a referral to Physical Therapy? If your blood work comes out OK it could be tight quads and/or IT band. Daily foam roller rolling like in this video with a SOFT (really important like one of these ) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=asgAWqwC67c I had some bad knee pain after riding for several months and after doing just five minutes a day of foam rolling on my quads after rides the pain eventually disappeared.
