The square display is a dockcase m.2 enclosure. Weird, and cute. I just do a micro SD card. The dongle is neccassary cause its running the deck,screen,speaker,hdmi and 1tb external. The screen has latency issues if you use its pass through type C Oh, that's a speaker! I thought that was an extra chonky power bank. Bluetooth headphones are so much smaller and lighter, and would eliminate one thing you'd need to power. Didn't know about the latency issues on pass through data power. Personally, I'd be on the lookout for a smaller USB-C HDMI PD adapter, more like this or this. But hey, if you're happy with your kit, more power to you! I'm just a sucker for minimizing bulk and weight.
