Thank you! As a singing drummer and after last night’s gig, I’m this was one of best the parts of the setup. I used a Gibraltar clamp (https://a.co/d/08JzHAkQ) to clamp a straight mic stand to the base of my throne (sans the stand’s base). Then, I added a short boom arm onto the straight stand from on of my kick drum mic stands (https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/MicStdDeskBm--on-stage-stands-ms7920b-bass-drum-boom-combo-mic-stand) minus the bottom portion. Next I attached a 24-inch gooseneck mic arm to the top of the boom arm (https://a.co/d/07j1M0FT) - excellent quality btw. Finally I used a Telefunken M80sh with a right angle XLR cable, which is small and sounds great, but I am a quite disappointed in the design of the mic. Its adjustment hinge is fixed to the mic, which obstructs the use of my D’Addario Mic Mute. Otherwise, the setup worked flawlessly. I could move it wherever I wanted, as quickly as I wanted.
