I just looked at the bottle I used again and I might be incorrect about polyurethane This is what I tried. Maybe I will go buy a small can of polyurethane and try on a different piece, but the color is already pretty dark after sanding and before spraying this on.

Nope! I bought the Avery clear label sheets that go in a printer. Here’s the step by step cleaned all the shells in a tub with some dish soap Leave them in the sun to dry Sprayed them with clear gloss sealant from rustoleum. I then tried to do a gold rim but it was too hard to make it look nice. I printed out all the names and then stuck them on the shells https://a.co/d/h0fi8Ti https://a.co/d/cT51YTJ
