It sounds like you need to clarify your hair in order to remove buildup. If money is an issue, Suave Daily Clarifying Cleansing Shampoo is inexpensive. Use at least once a month. Wash your hair every week to keep it hydrated. If possible, use old fashioned hair grease on the length and ends, to seal in the moisture. I use Softee Indian Hemp.
