Noshaq a different peak

Honestly one of the mountains I’m most interested in, hands down. Strongly recommend trip reports from Eric Gilbertson and The Cloud Ocean. Furthermore, a semi-recent Iranian expedition is documented in great detail in Noshaq: A Different Peak. Preserving Peaks documents the first Afghan Ascent of Noshaq. There is also a nonprofit local to me, personally (Ascend), responsible for putting the first Afghan woman on top of the country’s highest peak. They also resettled 134 Afghans following the Taliban takeover.
