Hey—they make these very cool, smaller-scale sonic brushes that even my orthodontist said would be great on the go. I used a small-scale soft brush for some time, but I’m big on my home Sonicare, so it made sense to get one for on the go. There are many, of all price points, and they’re totally portable. If you love the clean you get with a home sonic brush, get one to go—and you’ll want to brush! Otherwise I concur with everything u/Far-Industry-7745 says above. It comes down to being real with yourself about why you’re investing time and money and only phoning in your end of the bargain with braces. There is something about the good habits one can develop wearing Invisalign that might appeal to you. I know I snacked less, and made between-coffee-and-meals cleaning something vital. Six and twelve months in, my hygienist squawked in her best Staten Islander voice, “You don’t have any plaque!” That’s always worth hearing! You may not be vested in down-the-road benefits, but you will some day. Properly-aligned and maintained bite can make a difference in gum health and propensity to infection as we mature. There are so many potential hazards, so it’s important to look far beyond aesthetic benefits in making a commitment to Invisalign. That is worth giving day brushing and flossing a go. And try interdental brushes! My full routine is floss, swish, brush, interdental brushing, then swish again. But as an on-the-go aid, these brushes are miniscule and helpful! These are my faves.
