You didn't realize that those two sentences went together and what I meant was you don't need a weird puck thing you can use a regular dongle like the original Steam Controller uses. I really don't see how that is an improvement over the puck but whatever. You cannot plug the puck directly into a computer It doesn't have a male port It has a female USBC on it so you can't plug it directly into a computer You need to have a USB-A to USB-C or a USB-C to USB-C cable and then plug one end into your computer and one end into the puck. Sorry, I thought you were talking about the controller when I said that part, if it's the puck we're talking about, why do you need to plug it directly in? I guess the puck takes up a little more space? Is that really a huge issue? If you're really upset about it though, then try this thing You mean a desk where you sit close enough to the computer to just use it wired no puck or batteries needed? Yes, that is exactly what I said, I don't see how this refutes any of my arguments, I literally said "I enjoy the puck experience for this reason, but..." and then explained why I think someone in a different one should be able to have a similar quality experience. (It's possible you weren't trying to refute anything with this part, in which case my bad).
