I wouldn't say they are crap, it may never happen, but without a proper solution for the heater issue, I wouldn't print with it without monitoring. The fire risk is too much to me. Again, nothing happened so far and I only saw 1 person mentioning it. I know that it's a stretch, but as you are printing for profit, maybe you can do a makeshift booth and put the printers inside it, something like this or this. And them you can add a portable AC either inside (if you have only one booth) or using a duct to split between the booths that you acquire. That would let you keep your environment cool and dry, without breaking the buck with electricity costs, and you can even makeshift some ventilation system to suck the VOCs out. And it's portatil, you won't damage anything in your rented house.
