Fwiw! We've really been liking the cloth diapers. Did disposables for the first week and we legit prefer the cloth. Our setup: Flats in the origami fold, which is easy to do and has 8 or so layers of fabric front and back. I fold the diapers into quarters out of the laundry to make it even easier to prep Close with snappis (sooo easy, and obvs way easier than diaper pins) Waterproof covers We also do reusable wipes. You can buy them or just cut up some old flannels and serge (or even just pink!) the edges Then we have a diaper pail with the scent cakes and three reusable pail liners. And then a wet/dry bag for the diaper bag. I do do the laundry daily, but I think I'm an outlier, r/clothdiap has great advice! It's an investment up front, but the long-term savings vs disposable diapers is not even comparable.
