u/nyarlathotep2 gatchya man. And yeah on my setup I did use a breaker. It was a 30AH breaker on the battery side of the connectors on the positive wire. But I guess The amps didn't make It trip but the voltage from the crappy battery went too high maybe and burned out the motor.
