Pencils: keep in mind only the Apple Pencil Pro has magnetic charging, pressure sensitivity, and squeeze function. People get the Logitech Crayon or the ESR GEO Screen Protectors: I like this magnetic one and the price is great: https://a.co/d/0dBNcwGt You can find tons of cute, inexpensive folio cases with edge protection on Amazon. Find your style. Enjoy.

I bought the Apple Pencil Pro. I got a small discount because I recycled an old iPhone during Earth Week. For me, it isn't worth the money for all the bells and whistles--I reprogrammed the squeeze function with a shortcut to go back to the home screen on my iPad since I don't need the palette. The only reason I wanted the APP was for the on-board magnetic charging, and I'm satisfied with that. I used a base iPad for 6 years where you stuck the lightning connector on the Apple Pencil One up the tushie of the iPad, and I was in constant fear that it would break off. I appreciate the magnetic charging, but not sure it was worth what it cost. And I think it eats battery. If that's not worth it for you, and if you don't need pressure sensitivity for your use cases, you could get the USB-C apple pencil, a Logitech Crayon, or the ESR GEO pen to save some money. There are cheaper options, but not necessarily as reliable as those. For a screen protector, consider a magnetic one. I love this one, and it's a fraction of the cost of the PaperLike brand that sponsors EVERY influencer:
