Just wanted to say a huge thanks to this community! Thanks to the info here, I was able to replace both capacitors on my VM-50 (5.25-inch model) and it’s working perfectly again. ​The Issue: Both the C4 and C5 capacitors on the board had popped, completely cutting off the sound. ​The Fix: I bought a basic soldering kit and grabbed the replacement capacitors on Amazon.
