Awesome! By the way, if you encounter any broken plastic parts, plastic weld is a great solution over superglue. From the looks of it I'm assuming that's a 5501 model? If so then it's compatible with the xstation mod if you want to go discless. Other than that it's a pretty good model for the PS1, since the drive isn't located over the power supply and it has improved heat dissipation and video output. Edit: Wanted to add this also has the better sounding audio DAC inside it compared to later models.
