I use a 395 for milling and it is a formidable saw. Attachments/etc: Skip tooth ripping chain, 30-inch Granberg mill, Canon 3-ft solid bar. You could check out this book; I learned a lot from it: https://www.amazon.com/Chainsaw-Lumbermaking-Will-Malloff/dp/1626540527 With the setup above, I've been able to mill large (but < 28" diameter) cherry, walnut, hemlock, beech. No problems. I wouldn't recommend using the 365 for milling. The 395xp with carb set rich is ideal. The max rpm for this saw is 12,500 and I set it to around 11,800. Run a 40:1 gas:oil mix with good oil (I use amsoil saber). This setup allows one to walk into the forest, mill lumber, and easily carry/skid lumber out. The log itself is much heavier and harder to move unless you invest in mechanised skidders, which I don't want to do. Let me know if you want any more info.
