Bowls of vinegar, preferably apple cider vinegar, help draw out the smell. It takes a few days and you have to change it out daily, but it does work. I have unfortunately got it down to a science thanks to my dumba$$ dog who tries to make friends with the black and white puppies that come through our property. (Or my sense of smell is completely destroyed). I managed to build up a tolerance. I should start a business bathing skunked dogs, I could make a killing in my area.
