That is basically what I use as well, though mine runs off mains power rather than USB-C. I rescued it from a surplus pile at the university I used to teach at, but it's basically this thing: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DKFQ46FY I also have a pile of small aluminum weigh boats I use for holding the material: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DT43JF63 (they're a bit less than 2in wide) Temperature stability is pretty good, accuracy is fine for the price I paid for it, takes a minute to get to temp but nothing awful. It doesn't have a subitism's instant nature, but it does plenty fine for my purposes.
