I replace my lead acid batteries with LiFePO4 batteries once they end their initial life. They make direct replacements nowadays that just swap in for most battery sizes. The replacements last should easily 10+ years.
Surely, but the cells would need a bms as I suspect there’s no cut off to the charging for lead acid design in the cyberpower. It’s like it’s trickle charging all the time. They have lithium iron phosphate batteries https://a.co/d/060EL49R that appear as comparable units but they’re only good to 128 watts which wouldn’t work well in the desktop PC designed ones…
