I replace my lead acid batteries with LiFePO4 batteries once they end their initial life. They make direct replacements nowadays that just swap in for most battery sizes. I have these ones specifically in 2 UPS units in my home. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09M2ZLQ8N They are 3 years old at this point, and I have not noticed any degradation of performance. The replacements last should easily 10+ years.

Surely, but the cells would need a bms as I suspect there’s no cut off to the charging for lead acid design in the cyberpower. It’s like it’s trickle charging all the time. They have lithium iron phosphate batteries https://a.co/d/060EL49R that appear as comparable units but they’re only good to 128 watts which wouldn’t work well in the desktop PC designed ones…
