Dad of four here. I dont know if anyone can say it will pass quickly because every situation is different but one practical thing i can recommend is go hardcore into babyproofing. Special gates, some drilled into walls, latches on cupboards all throughout your kitchen, special locks for your doors that can keep kids from opening. Ppl made some comments that we had turned our home into a kid jail but i had four kids under three at one point(long story) so this is what helped keep our sanity at home.
