I bought these headphones on Woot for $40. They were impossibly uncomfortable, with a lot of pressure on the top of my head. I've since done this mod: https://www.reddit.com/r/headphones/comments/1k2nbko/grell_oae1_headband_mod/Then I added this headband cover: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08HQGTR7D?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1 They aren't quite as pretty, but I can actually wear them now. The cups sit exactly over my ears, and I have to say, I'm actually really enjoying them. The bass is on the heavier than I'm used to (especially for an openback) but not as muddy as people say. The soundstage is wild, verging on distracting, but not quite. NB. Driving them with a little FOSI SK02. Haven't tried with balanced cables, my Woot ones didn't come with any.
