I was in the same boat as you. I have a butt on the bigger side on top of thick thighs, so every jean labeled “relaxed” or “loose” fit more like a slim jean. That was until I came across the perfect straight jean that solved that issue, the Levi’s 565 Loose Straight Jeans. I don’t think they are part of Levi’s premium lineup, so the denim might be thinner than you’re used to. I’m a size 32 waist and these were the only jeans where I didn’t have to buy a size bigger than my actual waist just so they could fit comfortably. I bought them in a 32 waist and 34 inseam because I loved the way they fit and stack (leg opening is chefs kiss)
