Not much, on my end, that was all that technical. The powered speakers+sub: https://a.co/d/07RFWoWL The speaker set I repurposed from a pinball machine (double) sound system upgrade I did. I just double-sided tape mounted the speakers to the sides of the sub, fit everything on a nice presentation board and secured it all in place. The final piece is the use of this sweet little gadget, running between my phone and the speakers: https://a.co/d/07i28P6y I felt underwhelmed by the "stock" phone>speaker amplification. I, fortunately, arrived upon this as a possible solution toward even better sound, and boy was I right! You can really push that little $30 speaker set to new levels (and majorly boost the Phil thumpage), by inserting the amp in your audio chain. All told, about $60 in audio and $150 on the WOS scale model and the board was a scrap. I humbly submit that, for just north of $200, I've recreated a miniature Wall of Sound that even Bear, himself, would be proud of. The louder, the clearer, the better!! Now, mine can't be heard, distortion-free, at a half mile away, but it sure does look and sound damn fine atop my dresser! Bedroom tunes dialed!
