mid-fifties here and still wear band t-shirts. i recceived this sweater (i'm more of corporate goth since i work in an office): https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B75Z4269?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_2&th=1&psc=1 i wear it to the office with a button up shirt or, when i'm a little more casual, i wear with a band t-shirt underneath and black chinos or jeans and boots. i feel it's a little more age-appropriate and it covers my dad bod a little better than a pullover.
