not sure if its sweat proof but ive heard good things about the Sunset Makeup White Foundation. It hits a lot of your marks: indie brand, buildable to opaque, and its a foundation rather than face paint. the creator of the brand specifically made colorful foundations for the cosplay community so her formulas are notably made to last long. You can also set it with a white or translucent setting powder and finish it off with a temperature controlling setting spray like Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray (not transfer proof, this spray works by controlling face temp so you dont sweat your makeup off). You can also try transfer proof sprays like Smashbox Photofinish or theater grade sprays like Green or Blue Marble (although this is harsher).
