I have raised beds that I got on clearance for my client where they don't have to bend over. If you watch Home Depot and similar stores in the United States or even places like Tractor Supply Company they can ship one to you and oftentimes in the off season you will find these beds are significantly cheaper. During the regular gardening rush that starts towards the end of February and goes on until mid to late June, the prices on them can be pretty excessive. But I scored a pair for $65 a piece at Home Depot in September. Another thing that has really helped my husband and I is wearing UV protectant clothing. It seems counterintuitive to wear long sleeves on hot days but these UV hoodies have been a game changer. I will say, be careful to stick to reputable brands, because my husband had gotten one off of Amazon that was not a well-known brand and he ended up getting very sick in it. As soon as he went back to his nice Carhartt one from Lowe's he was able to go outside again. And neck chillers. I have these Neck Cooling Rings and keep them in rotation in my freezer. When they are no longer Frozen and are just barely chilly I bring them back in the house and use that as a sort of timer to help me remember to take breaks.
