Yeah, that does look annoying. I have a WiFi enabled power switch that I can reset my printer from my smartphone. Recently had some surgery where getting to my printer was problematic. The current firmware on the printer doesn’t allow for remote restart. This little gadget has saved me a lot of frustration.
Ditto on clearing the 'Clean your plate' dialog, it's stopped me cold recently. I'm temporarily hobble with a lower leg cast and can't easily get to my printer (on another floor). Had my wife bring me my build plate to remove the print and I forgot to tell her to tap the dialog box on the LCD. If my AD5X sits in that condition for very long it becomes unreachable, thus requiring an AC reboot. Funny thing is the printer is still reachable with the smartphone app, just no way to implement a reboot remotely, at least nothing documented. Ended up ordering a $12 WiFi power switch so I can reboot the device remotely.
