I've been fighting our 12ft x 30in pool, I think with the same pump, for waaaay too long. At first I was looking at the Intex SX2100, but the SX2800 has a pretty good discount on Prime Day (today is the last day of Prime Day, btw), so I did a deep dive and ended up buying the stuff to upgrade my inlets and outlets to 1.5", an in-wall skimmer since I figured my kids would break a hanging skimmer, and a vacuum that runs off the pump (our old vacuum runs off a garden hose, and it's... not great.) Here's my shopping list. I'm relatively new to pools so it's possible I missed something important, or got something that will be incompatible with something else. I researched it all pretty thoroughly to make sure it will all fit together, but beware if you follow my lead. I purposely bought stuff that was cheap on Prime Day, two days ago... Tomorrow they may no longer be the best deal. I bought everything I think I need to be able to use all the stock inlets/outlets and/or the skimmer, and switch between them as needed... And I bought plunger valves to make it easy to shut something off.
