I see, you have the "aspheric" eyepieces which are indeed 62 degrees. Even though they have thick "gold bands" around them, when everyone talks about the "gold-line" eyepieces, they are actually talking about the 66 degree eyepieces not the aspheric ones. Aspheric are an entirely different optical design from the gold-line and red-line eyepieces. (They have fewer elements and are cheaper - one of the elements is even molded plastic) The gold-line and red-line eyepieces have the same optical design, both are 4-6 elements and all elements are glass.
